Eric Gordon reportedly joining Suns

According to Shams Charania Eric Gordon has reached an agreement with the Phoenix Suns to play in Arizona next season.

After earning more than 150 million in contracts alone, the 34-year-old guard will join the Suns to try to win a ring along with the star trio of Devin Booker, Bradley Beal and Kevin Durant.

Last season Gordon scored 11 points with 42 percent from long range in 22 games with the Clippers.

Pistons sign Ausar Thompson

The DetroitPistons announced today that the team has signed Ausar Thompson to a rookie contract.

The athletic guard was the fifth overall pick of the 2023 NBA Draft.

Detroit also announced the arrivals of Jared Rhoden and Malcolm Cazalon. Both guards signed a Two-Way deal.

Malcolm Cazalon signs Two-Way deal with Pistons

21-year-old French swingman Malcolm Cazalon lands in the NBA on a Two-Way Contract with the Detroit Pistons, as announced by his agent.

Cazalon comes from a two-year stint in Serbia with KK Mega Bemax (12.8 points, 2.8 assists and 1.7 steals per game last season).

Sabonis, Kings agree to contract renegotiation and extension

Sacramento Kings All-NBA C Domantas Sabonis has agreed to a contract renegotiation and extension for a total of $217M over five years — including $195M in new money, his agents Greg Lawrence and Jason Ranne tell ESPN.

Sabonis’ 2023-2024 season will be renegotiated and four new seasons will be added onto the deal.

Russell Westbrook re-sign with Clippers: 2-year, $8M deal

Russell Westbrook has agreed to re-sign with the LA Clippers on a two-year, $8 million contract. The Clippers will use Westbrook’s Non-Bird rights to give him a minor bump in salary over the veteran minimum.

Westbrook averaged 15.8 points, 4.9 rebounds and 7.6 assists in 21 games with the Clippers at the end of last season.

Ty Jerome, Cavaliers agree to 2-year, $5M contract

The Cleveland Cavaliers and Ty Jerome have agreed to a two-year contract for $5 million. Jerome finished last season on a two-way contract with the Golden State Warriors.

Jerome averaged 6.9 points and 3.0 assists in 18.1 minutes over 45 games with the Warriors last season.

Clippers trade for Rockets’ KJ Martin

The LA Clippers are acquiring K.J. Martin from the Houston Rockets in exchange for two future second-round picks.

Martin averaged 12.7 points and 5.5 rebounds for the Rockets last season, shooting 56.9% on FG.

Rockets land Mills, Landale, Jeff Green in new deals

The Houston Rockets are definitely one of the most active teams in free agency as they have acquired three veteran players. Patty Mills arrives via trade with the Brooklyn Nets, per The Athletic, while Jeff Green – a NBA champion in 2023 with Denver – has signed a 1-year, $6M contract.

Another signing is Australian center Jock Landale, who has agreed to a 4-year, $32M deal. Only the first season of the agreement, however, is fully guaranteed.

Mo Wagner, Orlando Magic agree on two-year, $16 million contract

Mo Wagner has reached an agreement with the Orlando Magic on a new two-year, $16 million deal.

The 26-year-old German big man last year produced 10.5 points (50% FG, 84% FT) , 4.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 19 minutes per game.

 

Brook Lopez, Bucks agree to a two-year $48 Million contract

After Khris Middleton, the Milwaukee Bucks have also reached an agreement with Brook Lopez, who will return to Wisconsin on a two-year, 48 million deal.

The center had received a lucrative offer from the Houston Rockets.

Lopez last season scored 15.9 points with 6.7 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per game.

D’Angelo Russell, Lakers agree to a two-year, $37 million deal

D’Angelo Russell and the Los Angeles Lakers agreed to a two-year, $37 million contract with Player Option for the second season.

Russell, who returned to Los Angel, Adrian Wojnarowski reports.es before the last trade deadline, produced over 17 points and 6 assists per game in the regular season.

Spurs officially sign Victor Wembanyama

Victor Wembanyama has signed his rookie deal with the San Antonio Spurs.

The French big man, selected with the first overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft, will earn more than $12 million in his first season.

The standard contract for a rookie selected in the first round includes two guaranteed years plus team options for 3rd and 4th seasons.

The Spurs have confirmed Wembanyama’s availability for the upcoming Las Vegas Summer League.

 

Vasilije Micic to OKC on a 3-year, $23M deal

EuroLeague G Vasilije Micić – one of Europe’s best and most accomplished players – has agreed on a 3-year, $23.5M deal to join the Thunder, as reported by ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. A two-time EuroLeague champion and an MVP, Micic brings a significant skillset and IQ to OKC.

Portland Trail Blazers superstar Damian Lillard has requested a trade this morning, league sources tell TNT’s Chris Haynes.
