Former MVP stays in Los Angeles for two additional seasons, re-signing with the Clippers

Russell Westbrook has agreed to re-sign with the LA Clippers on a two-year, $8 million contract. The Clippers will use Westbrook’s Non-Bird rights to give him a minor bump in salary over the veteran minimum.

Westbrook averaged 15.8 points, 4.9 rebounds and 7.6 assists in 21 games with the Clippers at the end of last season.
