Clippers pick up option on Bones Hyland

Bones Hyland’s 2024–25 rookie scale team option has been activated by the LA Clippers. Teams can choose their rookie scale options for the upcoming season until October 31.

Hyland has this option for his fourth year. During the trade deadline of the previous season, the Clippers acquired him from the Denver Nuggets.

Wizards exercise options on Kispert, Davis and Baldwin jr

The 2024–25 rookie scale team options for Corey Kispert, Johnny Davis, and Patrick Baldwin Jr. have been exercised by the Washington Wizards. October 31 is the cutoff date for selecting these alternatives for the upcoming season.

This is Kispert’s fourth-year option. Both Davis and Baldwin had their third-year options exercised.

Philadelphia 76ers’ James Harden traded to Clippers

James Harden will be a Los Angeles Clippers player. An agreement has just been reached with the Philadelphia 76ers.

Phila is sending James Harden, PJ Tucker, and Filip Petrusev to LA, as reported by Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

The Clippers are trading Marcus Morris, Nic Batum, Robert Covington, KJ Martin, various draft picks, and pick swaps.

Bismack Biyombo to join Grizzlies

The Memphis Grizzlies are expected to add centre Bismack Biyombo to the roster soon, reports Shams Charania.

The team will be able to move Ja Morant to the suspended players list after the point guard serves out the first five games of his disqualification, so at least initially it will not be necessary to release anyone to sign Biyombo.

The 31-year-old big man comes from a two-year stint with the Phoenix Suns (4.3 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in 14 minutes per game last season).
