Not only Derrick Jones, also Kendrick Nunn has signed a multiyear footwear and apparel endorsement deal with Puma.
Nunn finalized the deal in Chicago during the All-Star Weekend. He is averaging 15ppg with the Miami Heat.

Rockets to sign Jeff Green and DeMarre Carroll

The Houston Rockets are signing Jeff Green and DeMarre Carroll.

Green will sign a ten-day contract while Carroll will join the Rockets once he clears waivers.

Carroll has negotiated a buyout with the Spurs where he signed for three years last summer.

Per ESPN, The contract buyout with the Spurs included negotiations on guaranteed money of $2.3 million for the rest of this season, $6.65 million in 2020-2021 and $1.35 million in 2021-22.
The Jazz waived Green in late December after signing him to a one-year free-agent deal in July. He averaged 7.8 points and 2.7 rebounds in 30 games.

Bulls to make changes in front office

The Chicago Bulls are expected to restructure the front office and the duo Gar Forman-John Paxson won’t remain beyond this season, as reported by Chicago Sun-Times.

Per ESPN, Chicago Bulls president Michael Reinsdorf has been gathering background on potential candidates to take over the franchise’s basketball operations

Paxson and Forman have presided over the Bulls’ front office as a tandem since 2009.
The Bulls are set to miss the playoffs for the third straight season and the fourth time in five years.

Cavs, John Beilein expected to part ways

John Beilein and the Cleveland Cavaliers are expected to part ways despite a five-year contract signed by the coach last summer.

Per ESPN, The Cleveland Cavaliers and John Beilein have discussed the possibility of the coach stepping down before the end of the All-Star break, and Beilein was expected to reach a decision in the next 24-48 hours, league sources told ESPN.
Beilein was expected to speak with Cavaliers general manager Koby Altman again about his future as soon as Monday, league sources said.
Since he signed a five-year contract upon leaving the University of Michigan , Beilein, 67, has been increasingly unable to adjust to a dramatically different world in the NBA.

Marcin Gortat retires: I am finishing my basketball career

Marcin Gortat announced his retirement from basketball in an interview with TVP.Info.

The Polish big man has played 12 seasons in the NBA collecting 806 games at 9.9 points and 7.9 rebounds per contest.

Gortat wore the jersey of the Los Angeles Clippers last season.

“I am retiring. I am finishing my basketball career. I want to thank all the supporters that were watching and supporting me. It was very important for me. It is time to end my career. I think this is the moment. I gave myself a year to see what life would bring me and it brought me to the decision of retiring”.

Gortat has earned more than $95 million in his NBA career.

Gortat will be 36 on Monday, February 17.

NBA executives still view James Wiseman as a likely Top-5 pick

James Wiseman is taking a unique path to the NBA: after playing just three games in college he left Memphis, due to various regulatory issues, to prepare for the 2020 draft.

“Most executives league-wide see (Wiseman) as a likely top-five pick, and as one of the favorites to end up in the top-three,” as reported by Sam Vecenie of The Athletic. Wiseman could drop further depending on how the lottery plays out.
