Barcelona reportedly ready to secure the Hernangomez brothers

Barcelona is ready to secure the Hernangomez brothers. The website Home of Glory announces the agreement with Juancho, while the offer for Willy has already been officially made, an offer that Real Madrid is not expected to match, according to the Spanish site.

Juancho, a 206-centimeter forward, averaged 15.1 minutes in the last NBA season with the Raptors.

Willy, a 210-centimeter center, has left the Pelicans where he averaged 7.1 points and 4.9 rebounds.

Virtus Bologna is considering signing Devontae Cacok according to Repubblica.

An NBA champion with the Los Angeles Lakers, Cacok was born in Riverdale, United States, and also holds a Jamaican passport.

A 201 cm forward, born in 1996, Cacok arrived in Europe in February 2023 when he was signed by Cska. In 20 VTB games, he averaged 9.6 points and 5.6 rebounds.

Ismael Kamagate to play with Olimpia Milano next season

Ismael Kamagate will play with Olimpia Milano next season, as confirmed by Nuggets’ assistant GM, Tommy Balcetis.

The French center will replace Brandon Davies, who signed with Valencia yesterday. Kamagate averaged 9.3 points and 8.5 rebounds last EuroCup season with Paris Basketball.

The French center is currently in the United States to participate in the Summer League. His team, the Denver Nuggets, will make their debut on Friday against the Milwaukee Bucks, but in the meantime, the French center is the talk of the town.

Buducnost adds Fletcher Magee

By adding shooting guard Fletcher Magee, Buducnost VOLI Podgorica expanded its squad for the next campaign. The club made the announcement on Tuesday. Magee, a 26-year-old prodigious three-point shooter, joins from SC Derby, a local rival for which he averaged 13.7 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game in the ABA League the previous season. He was shooting threes at a 42.2% clip and made 2.8 triples per game.

Magee had previously signed with Buducnost in the summer of 2020, but he didn’t play for the team and instead transferred to SC Derby, where he has spent the last three years.

Buducnost keeps coach Mijovic

Buducnost VOLI Podgorica announced Sunday that Petar Mijovic will remain its head coach in the upcoming season. Mijovic, 41, took over Buducnost bench in the finish of last season, and guided the team to the Adriatic League semifinals and Montenegrin League title. He has a 9-11 coaching record in the EuroCup.

This is Mijovic’s third stint with the club. He coached Buducnost youth categories in 2017 and 2018, before being promoted to the first team, first as an assistant coach, then to head coach in April of 2019. Even though the club did not keep him as coach for the following season, he was already back on the bench in October 2019 and remained Buducnost head coach until leaving in January 2021. During those two stints he helped Buducnost win the Montenegrin League title in 2019 and lifted the Montenegrin Cup trophy in 2020.

Tai Odiase joins Prometey

Tai Odiase has been signed by Prometey Slobozhanske and will play for the 7DAYS EuroCup team in the upcoming campaign. Odiase (27 years old, 2.06 meters) recently competed for Germani Brescia, where in his first EuroCup season he averaged 7.2 points, 2.7 rebounds, 1.2 blocks, and a 7.7 PIR. Strangely, the American had one of his greatest performances from last season against Prometey in Round 2, recording 10 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist, and 3 blocks in a convincing victory.
