Adrian spent last season in Forli, where he won the Italian Serie A2 MVP award with averages of 15.6 points, 6.6 rebounds and 1.5 assists.

Mike Scott reportedly signing with ASVEL

According to Theo Quintard, ASVEL has finalized the signing of Mike Scott for next season.

The former NBA forward was just named MVP of the Puerto Rican League final, won 4-1 by the Gigantes de Carolina against the Vaqueros de Bayamon (Scott scored 26.7 points per game in the 4 wins).

According to Omri Manhime, Jasiel Rivero has reached an agreement with Maccabi Tel Aviv on a one-year contract with option.

The Cuban power forward spent the last two years with Valencia, where he made his Euroleague debut last season (9.4 PPG, 3.4 RPG in 18 minutes per game).

Panathinaikos reportedly eyes NBA Free Agent Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk

According to SDNA, Panathinaikos Athens is interested in signing Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk as the final addition to their 2023-24 EuroLeague season roster. Mykhailiuk, who started the last season with the New York Knicks and ended it with the Charlotte Hornets, is now an unrestricted free agent. Despite averaging 10.6 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 2.7 assists in 19 games with the Hornets, he has yet to secure an NBA contract. However, the Ukrainian player is prioritizing an NBA contract, and a return to Europe remains an option only if the first choice fails, as reported by Gazzetta.gr.

Gabe Brown to join Openjobmetis Varese

Openjobmetis Varese has reached an agreement with Gabe Brown, a 23-year-old forward out of Michigan State, according to La Prealpina.

Brown spent his rookie season in G League with the Raptors 905.

In the developmental league the forward played a total of 48 games, averaging 12.2 points (44% FG, 38% from three on over 6 attempts per game, 92%FT) and 3.8 rebounds in 25 minutes.

Joventut Badalona inks Chinanu Onuaku

Joventut Badalona strengthens the frontcourt with the arrival of Chinanu Onuaku.

The former Louisville big man signed a one-year deal.

Onuaku spent last year between Sassari (9 games) and Hapoel Tel Aviv (10.7 points, 7.5 rebounds and 1,5 blocks per game in Eurocup).

 

Bursaspor signs Johnny Hamilton, 3 more USA players

Bursaspor announced the signing of four U.S. players: center Johnny Hamilton, forwards Anthony Brown and Michael Young, and guard Jordan Floyd.

Hamilton remains in Turkey, where last season he produced 10.5 points, 7.1 rebounds and 1.9 blocks (first in BSL) with Merkezefendi.

Brown, last year at Unics Kazan, has already played for the Turkish team in 2021-22.

Young comes from a season with Kawasaki Brave Thunders (12.1 PPG, 5.2 RPG, 2.9 APG), while Floyd scored over 14 points in 21 minutes per game between Eurocup and BetClic Elite with JL Bourg.

 

 

Sebastian Herrera signs with Paris Basketball

Sebastian Herrera is a new player of Paris Basketball, as announced by the French team.

The Chilean guard is the fifth former Telekom Basket Bonn player that Coach Iisalo brings with him to the French team, after Michael Kessens, Leon Kratzer, Tyson Ward and Collin Malcolm.

Herrera last year produced 9.9 points and 2.4 assists per game between BBL and BCL.

 

 

Maccabi Tel Aviv inks Antonius Cleveland

Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv announced the arrival of Antonius Cleveland on a two-year contract.

The guard has been named NBL Defensive Player of the Year for the past two seasons.

Cleveland spent last year between the Adelaide 36ers (15.8 PPG, 5.7 RPG, 2.7 APG, 1.9 SPG) and Hapoel Eilat (17.6 PPG, 4.2 RPG, 2.8 APG, 1.8 SPG).

Coach Kattash’s comment, “We are very happy that Antonius is joining the team. He is a very strong athlete, a great defender, a player who wants to prove he can contribute at the highest level.”

 

Baskonia reportedly in talks with Shannon Evans

Baskonia is in negotiations for the arrival of American point guard Shannon Evans. The 29-year-old, 1.85m-tall player, who has previously been on the Spanish club’s radar, could boost the team’s exterior line-up.

Shannon Evans joined Real Betis in the summer of 2021 after his stints in Hungarian, French and Turkish basketball, quickly becoming a key figure in the team. After a fantastic 2021-22 season where he averaged 17.4 points and 6.8 assists in the ACB, he decided to renew with Betis, eventually moving to Valencia Basket last January. However, the Connecticut native did not adapt well to the secondary role he had in Valencia in the second half of last season, averaging 5.5 points and 2.3 assists in the EuroLeague, leading Valencia Basket to ultimately terminate his contract despite having paid over 200,000 euros to Betis just a few months prior.

Juancho Hernangomez joins Panathinaikos

Juancho Hernangomez, who is most known for playing Bo Cruz in the film “Hustle,” has signed with Panathinaikos Athens on a contract that runs through the conclusion of the 2024–25 season. Hernangomez, a 27-year-old player with a height of 2.06 meters, has been a member of the NBA ever since the 15th choice in the 2016 NBA Draft. The Spaniard just finished a season with the Toronto Raptors in which he played in 42 games and averaged 14.6 minutes, 2.9 points, and 2.9 rebounds per game. He will make his Turkish Airlines EuroLeague debut with the Greens this year after never having participated in the league previously.

ASVEL reportedly targeting Mike Scott

ASVEL is trying to convince Mike Scott to return to France next season, according to BeBasket.

The 35-year-old forward, currently in BSN with the Gigantes de Carolina, made his European debut last year with Nancy, scoring 14.2 points with 6.6 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game in BetClic Elite.

A power forward with an excellent shot from long range, Scott played 9 seasons in the NBA.

Merkezefendi signs Jalen Hudson, Vrenz Bleijenbergh and Daniel Oturu

Merkezefendi announced the signings of Jalen Hudson, Vrenz Bleijenbergh and Daniel Oturu.

Hudson ended last season in Italy with Trieste, playing just two games due to an injury.

Bleijenbergh is a Belgian forward who last year with Oostende produced 9.5 points, 5.1 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game between BNXT and BCL.

Oturu is a center who spent his first two years as a pro in the G League with the Windy City Bulls (9.9 PPG, 5.8 RPG in 16 minutes).

 

 

Partizan reportedly in talks with Nicolas Laprovíttola

According to B92, Partizan would like to hand over the starting point guard role to Nicolas Laprovittola.

Coach Zeljko Obradović traveled to Barcelona with his long-time associate Josep Maria Izquierdo to present his plans to the Argentine pointguard, who is under contract with Barcelona.

In case of a deal, the Serbian team will have to negotiate a buyout with the Blaugrana.

Last year Laprovittola averaged 10.4 points and 4.6 assists per game in Euroleague, and 12.4 points with 3.8 assists in ACB.

Panathinaikos is in advanced talks with Juancho Hernangomez, according to a report by George Zakkas.

The Greek team is looking for a starting power forward and has tried to bring players like Toko Shengelia and Nikola Mirotic to Greece.

Hernangomez is close to returning to Europe after 7 seasons in the NBA (career averages of 5 points and 3.3 rebounds, with a high of 12.9 points and 7.3 rebounds with the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2020).
