Bell spent his senior season in NCAA with Jacksonville averaging a double double in points and rebounds (12+10).

Trey Thompkins and Real Madrid have agreed to a contract extension till 2022, as reported by Carlos Sanchez Blas.

The American is in Madrid since 2015-2016.

Olimpia Milano to keep Michael Roll

Michael Roll will remain with Olimpia Milano one more season.
The American with passport from Tunisia signed a 1+1 deal last summer and Milano decided to opt in of his deal.

Roll was averaging 7.5 points per game in EuroLeague and 8.8 points in Serie A before the suspensions due to coronavirus pandemic.

Fortitudo Bologna offers Adrian Banks a two-year contract

Fortitudo Bologna wants Adrian Banks and offered him a two-year contract, a source told Sportando.
The guard has a new offer from Brindisi which is way lower than Fortitudo’s proposal in the first two years but offers him a third season.

After the Serie A season was suspended, Happy Casa Brindisi tried to convince Banks with a contract extension offer but the guard turned it down.

Banks is drawing interest from Asia and Israel as well, as reported by some Italian media.

The American combo guard averaged more than 21 points per game this season in Serie A.

Fortitudo, which is expected to start the season with only three foreigners at guard, PF and C positions, strongly wants Banks at 2.

Veteran guard Adama Darboe has signed a deal with Spirou Basket of Belgium’s Euromillions League, the team announced.

Darboe has spent the past four seasons in Denmark with the Bakken Bears. He averaged 9.8 points and 4.3 rebounds per game this season in the Danish league and FIBA Europe Cup.

Fortitudo Bologna is showing huge interest in Adrian Banks and is ready to put on the table a big offer to convince the combo guard to remain in Italy next season, a source told Sportando.

Banks has been the unquestionable MVP this season in Serie A with 21.2ppg, 3.6rpg and 4.5apg.

The native of Memphis has turned down a contract extension from Happy Casa Brindisi which tried to keep him for one more season but now he may stay in Italy and join coach Meo Sacchetti’s new team that will also play in Basketball Champions League in 2020-2021.

After the agreement reached with Jeff Brooks on a contract extension, Gigi Datome is Olimpia Milano’s next big target.

Ettore Messina’s goal is to close the “Italian” roster of AX Armani Exchange with the forward of Fenerbahce.

Datome, in Fenerbahce since 2015, has a contract till 2022 with the Turkish powerhouse without opt out clause in the summer.

Milano has expressed serious interest in the captain of Italbasket and the contacts have intensified in the recent days, but his future remains in the hands of Fenerbahce.

As of now, the expectation is that Datome is still committed to remain in Istanbul more than returning to Italy but the situation in Fenerbahce is not clear yet and Zeljko Obradovic’s decision about his future is going to influence the decision of their top players.

If Milano doesn’t sign Datome, the target would be Derrick Williams, another player of Fenerbahce, whose contract will expire on June 30.

Donaldas Kairys leaves Avtodor Saratov, to join Rytas Vilnius

Donaldas Kairys opts out of his deal with Avtodor Saratov.

The 43-year-old Lithuanian took over as head coach early in February. His deal ran up to the conclusion of the 2020-21 season with the opt-out clause he has activated. Kairys guided his side to beat Tmoki Minsk at home and to lose two road games in Zielona Gora and Khimki.
