Virtus Bologna have reached an agreement with Andrejs Grazulis. Corriere del Trentino reports.

Grazulis, a 202 cm wing who has been a stable element in the Latvian national team coached by Luca Banchi (15.5 points average in the two games of the February window), averaged 12.3 points and 5.2 rebounds in the last EuroCup season.

According to the Trentino newspaper, an agreement for next season has been reached in the last few days.

According to Meridian.rs, Virtus Bologna is reportedly on the list of Euroleague teams interested in signing Isaiah Canaan for next year.

The guard, under contract with Olympiacos until the end of the season, is producing averages of 12.7 points in 24 minutes per game in Euroleague, shooting 59% from two-points, a remarkable 46% from long distance and 89% from the foul line.

High-level numbers that the Reds would like to continue to rely on in the future.

Barcellona reportedly close to a new deal with Jan Vesely

Barcelona are close to agreeing a contract extension with Jan Vesely, according to RAC1.

The 33-year-old, 2.10m Czech pivot, who joined Barca from Fenerbahce in the summer of 2022, had signed a three-year deal until June 2025, with an option for either party to leave in the summer of 2024.

The new negotiations are expected to remove that option. Vesely is considered a key player for coach Roger Grimau and has been in excellent form this season, averaging 12.9 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.4 assists and a 16.6 rating in the EuroLeague.

Pallacanestro Varese reportedly reject Cska’s offer for Olivier Hanlan

Pallacanestro Varese has rejected a significant financial offer from CSKA Moscow for Olivier Hanlan. This was reported by La Prealpina.

The Russian proposal, which included a four-month contract – the equivalent of Hanlan’s entire season at Varese – and a substantial buyout of around $100,000, was rejected by the Italian club with a polite ‘no thanks’.

This decision marks a departure from the past and underlines a change in the club’s attractiveness after the “great flight” of foreigners in 2021.

Unlike previous contracts with buy-out clauses, Hanlan’s is binding until 30 June, giving Varese control over his eventual transfer.

Olivier Hanlan reportedly among players on CSKA Moscow’s notebook

According to  Orazio Cauchi, Olivier Hanlan is one of the profiles evaluated by CSKA Moscow to strengthen the backcourt.

The Russian team is back on the market to add a guard after Ware’s injury and the failure of the Barton deal.
