Paris cash in on Barça’s absences and the in-game injury to Jan Vesely: Barça to 17-11, Paris up to 9-18

Paris Basketball pulled off a road upset at the Palau Blaugrana, beating Barça 85-74 while taking full advantage of a depleted home roster. Barcelona were already missing Kevin Punter, Tomas Satoransky and Juan Núñez, and the situation worsened when Jan Vesely left the game injured.

In a tense atmosphere and with reduced attendance, Paris grabbed early control, finishing the first quarter up 21-18. Barça edged ahead by halftime 43-39, but the break didn’t shift the tone as Paris’ energy kept dictating pace and momentum.

Paris opened the final quarter in command at 67-55, and every comeback attempt fizzled—Barça never cut it below 10, with the gap stretching to 17. Hifi again led the scoring, while Barcelona’s only double-digit scorers were Brizuela, Laprovittola and Shengelia.

In Barcelona, Brizuela scored 15 points, Laprovittola and Shengelia scored 11 points each. In Paris, Hifi scored 21 points and Justin Robinson scored 18 points.
