Novak Djokovic attends Crvena Zvezda’s EuroLeague opener

The Serbian tennis legend watched the game from the front row alongside his father Srdjan

It would have been difficult to imagine a bigger guest for Crvena Zvezda’s season opener. Just minutes before the start of the game against Zalgiris, Novak Djokovic walked into Belgrade Arena to support his beloved club.

Djokovic is a regular presence at Crvena Zvezda games, so his appearance did not come as a surprise to the fans. The Serbian superstar sat in the front row alongside his father Srdjan to watch the team’s opening game of the new EuroLeague season.

A huge ovation for Djokovic

As expected, Djokovic received a huge ovation from the crowd, with Crvena Zvezda fans celebrating the presence of one of the greatest athletes in Serbian history.

The Serbian tennis icon also attracted attention with the T-shirt he was wearing, featuring some of the club’s legendary supporters from Mali Kalemegdan.

His presence added another special element to an already highly anticipated night, with Crvena Zvezda taking on Zalgiris in the opening round of the new EuroLeague season.
