Nikola Kalinić has reached an agreement with Crvena zvezda for a three-year contract worth 5 million euros. This could be the last contract in the career of the 32-year-old, who arrives in Belgrade after a disappointing season with Barcelona, where he averaged 7.3 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game.
This will be Kalinić’s third stint with Crvena zvezda, having previously played in the 2014/15 and 2021/22 seasons, during which he won two ABA League titles, two national Superleagues, and two Radivoj Korać Cups, and was named MVP of the Adriatic competition in 2022.
Crvena zvezda is active in the market, having already signed Uroš Plavšić and renewed contracts with captain Branko Lazić and Rokas Giedraitis, with further reinforcements like Mike Daum, Kody Miller-McIntyre, and Isaiah Canaan expected to join.
