Dubai, Pascual: “We will need to play almost perfectly against Virtus”

Dubai Basketball visits Virtus Bologna in EuroLeague Round 10, with Xavi Pascual highlighting defensive rebounding and transition defense as the main keys.

“There is a new challenge in front of us and it will be a very difficult game,” Pascual said. “Virtus is excellent on the offensive glass and plays at a high tempo. Transition defense and defensive rebounding are going to be crucial.” The Spanish coach added: “They are a very good team, well coached. As always, when we play the Dubai way, we will need to play almost perfectly if we want to win.”

It will also be a special night for Toko Shengelia, returning to Bologna as an opponent: “This team had a big impact on me, my family and my career. I’m nothing but grateful to this organization. We need to be very sharp and focused for 40 minutes because in this arena you cannot relax for even one second.”
