The Australian league will open a regular dialogue with the media about on-court matters
Starting Monday, September 28, the NBL will conduct regular media conferences featuring selected members of its Basketball Operations and referees departments.
According to journalist Olgun Uluc, the sessions will take place at the end of every round, allowing reporters to ask questions about officiating decisions and other on-court matters.
The initiative has reportedly been in development since the offseason. NBL General Manager of Referees Scott Butler will attend the first conference.
