Atlanta Hawks GM and team president Travis Schlenk announced during a conference call that the team has reached an agreement with Nate McMillan for a new multiyear contract
The coach led the Hawks to a surprising Eastern Conference final.
McMillan took over from Lloyd Pierce on March 1st. Since then, Trae Young and his teammates have changed gears, winning 27 of the remaining 38 regular season games.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski, McMillan will sign a 4-year deal.
