The Minnesota Timberwolves got Anthony Edwards back in their 124-94 win over Dallas. The All-Star guard scored 17 points in 23 minutes, coming off the bench after missing the opening tip in what coach Chris Finch jokingly described as a “nature calls” delay.
Minnesota also received bad news on Jaden McDaniels, who has been listed as week-to-week because of left knee patella tendinopathy and a bone bruise. At a crucial point in the playoff race, the Wolves are now without one of their top perimeter defenders.
