Giannis misses the 123-116 loss to Cleveland; Doc Rivers: “Really good image… no damage,” but no timetable

The Milwaukee Bucks were without Giannis Antetokounmpo in Tuesday night’s 123-116 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers after he exited a win over the Indiana Pacers two days earlier.
Milwaukee said the two-time MVP has a hyperextended left knee and a bone bruise.

Coach Doc Rivers called the imaging results encouraging: “There’s no damage — nothing,” while declining to speculate on how long Antetokounmpo could miss.
Giannis didn’t play the fourth quarter on Sunday after landing awkwardly on a dunk late in the third.

Antetokounmpo downplayed the injury afterward: “I’m just going to go back home, sleep… As of now, I’m not really bothered.”
This is already his 32nd missed game of the season — a career high — and the Bucks are 11-21 without him, sitting 11th in the East, 6.5 games behind the 10th spot.
