Jalen Suggs left the Orlando Magic’s win over the New York Knicks late in the fourth quarter with an apparent non-contact right knee injury. The guard had to be helped off the floor and will undergo further evaluation.
Suggs was injured with 2:09 remaining when his right knee appeared to buckle on a fast-break layup attempt. He stayed down in pain before slowly making his way to the locker room with assistance from team personnel.
Coach Sean Sweeney had no immediate update, saying Suggs would be evaluated. He added that Suggs was in good spirits after the game. Orlando is already without Paolo Banchero because of an ankle sprain.
