The talented guard had already been linked to Maccabi as a potential target for next season.

According to Israel Hayom, Maccabi Tel Aviv is attempting to bring J.D. Notae to Israel to replace Jeff Dowtin Jr. for the final stretch of the Winner League season.

The 27-year-old guard has remained without a team following the collapse of Trapani Shark and had already been linked to Maccabi as a potential target for next season.

By making the move now, the team led by GM Claudio Coldebella would get a head start on evaluating Notae’s qualities and his fit with the current roster ahead of next year.
