Maccabi Tel Aviv have announced their separation from Jeff Dowtin

Maccabi Tel Aviv have announced their separation from Jeff Dowtin. The Israeli club and the guard have reached an agreement to terminate his contract.

Dowtin ends his Maccabi spell after playing 19 EuroLeague games this season. He averaged 8.1 points, 2.4 assists and 1.1 rebounds in 17.6 minutes per game.

His shooting numbers were solid: 43.1% from two-point range, 40.0% from three and 71.4% from the free-throw line. Still, both sides have decided to move on.

For Maccabi Tel Aviv, this is one of the first roster moves ahead of next season’s rebuild. Dowtin now enters the market as a free agent.
