Klemen Prepelic on Francisco: “What he did was very low level”

After Slovenia’s loss to France, the main topic was the last-second basket by Sylvain Francisco, who had already shaken hands with Luka Doncic before scoring.

“It was pretty disrespectful, let’s say very low level,” said Klemen Prepelic. “I told him it shouldn’t happen again. He’s talented, hardworking, and had a great night, but that gesture was wrong”.

French coach Frédéric Fauthoux defended Francisco: “Every basket counts for goal average, it’s not about disrespect”. Bilal Coulibaly echoed: “If I were in their position, I’d be mad too, but it’s part of the game”.
