The John Bryant era at Syntainics MBC (Wolves Weißenfels) has officially come to an end. The German club announced that it has released the veteran center for disciplinary reasons, terminating its relationship with the 38-year-old big man.
In an official statement, the Wolves explained that the decision was made because “key expectations regarding professionalism and cooperation have recently not been met,” making a clear step necessary.
Bryant, who recently played his 500th Bundesliga game, joined the club around four years ago. Over the course of his career in Germany, he was named Bundesliga MVP in both 2012 and 2013, won the league title with FC Bayern Basketball in 2014, and was part of the Wolves’ historic German Cup triumph last season.
