Science City Jena has signed Sacar Anim through the end of the season, bringing the former Bayreuth wing back to the BBL

Science City Jena has signed Sacar Anim through the end of the season. The 29-year-old American swingman returns to Germany after his previous BBL stint with Bayreuth.

Anim, a 1.96-meter shooting guard/small forward, is expected to make his debut on October 4 against NINERS Chemnitz after completing his medical and all required formalities.

He averaged 14.3 points over 33 BBL games with Bayreuth in 2021-22. Anim later played for Reggio Emilia, Hapoel Eilat, Igokea and CSO Voluntari, where he averaged 13.1 points last season while shooting 48.1% from the field. Jena also stated that the club will continue to actively monitor the market.
