The Czech Republic will head to Riga without veteran big man Jan Vesely, still recovering from injury
Jan Vesely will not take part in EuroBasket 2025, as confirmed by the Czech national team. The FC Barcelona center is still sidelined due to the injury that affected the latter part of his season and has not yet returned to full training.
The Czech roster will instead be led by Vit Krejci, the lone NBA representative from the Atlanta Hawks, and Tomas Satoransky, also from Barcelona.
Czechia will play in Group A, facing Portugal, Turkey, Estonia, Serbia, and host nation Latvia in Riga.
