Iffe Lundberg: I think the coach has given me more confidence in my abilities

Iffe Lundberg, Virtus Bologna’s guard, stars in Corriere dello Sport. Here are three of his statements.

ON THE DIFFICULTIES OF THE FIRST YEAR

‘I don’t think I’m the person to ask this question. I don’t know what happened, and whatever it was anyway, it’s already in the past. I only think of the present’.

ON THE ‘OFF-ROSTER’ PERIOD

‘It was a very difficult process, but I managed to stay true to myself, I didn’t stop believing in my abilities and the people close to me who supported me throughout. So many people in Bologna continued to support me and cheer me on despite the situation that had arisen, and for this I am truly grateful. I really felt everyone’s love’.

ON CHANGE

‘Personally, nothing in terms of how I see myself as a player, while I think the coach has given me more confidence in my abilities on the court’.
