Highsmith is moving to Europe for the first time in his career

Haywood Highsmith has signed a deal with Merlins Crailsheim of the German Bundesliga, the team announced.

The 23-year-old forward spent last season in the NBA G League with the Delaware Blue Coats, averaging 10.4 points and 6.7 rebounds per game.

Highsmith appeared in five NBA games with the Philadelphia 76ers in 2018-19.
