Gipuzkoa Basket and Sergio García have reached an agreement on a new contract extension. The coach, whose deal originally ran through 2027, will now remain in charge until the end of the 2027/28 season.
García returned to the club in the summer of 2025 as head coach, bringing experience and deep knowledge of Primera FEB. Under his leadership, the team has shown steady growth, becoming a competitive group and securing a playoff spot.
With this renewal, Gipuzkoa Basket strengthen their sporting project and reaffirm their commitment to identity, work ethic and local talent. Both the club and the coach now look ahead to the next challenges with ambition.
