Gigi Datome’s era with Fenerbahce is ending after five seasons.
The Italian forward is finalizing his exit from the guaranteed contract with Fenerbahce. The announcement from the Turkish club is expected soon.
Datome joined Fenerbahce in 2015. In five seasons, he won three Turkish championships, two Turkish Supercups and one EuroLeague title. He was also a Turkish BSL All-Star in 2018, BSL Finals MVP in 2016, Supercup MVP (2017), a two-time Turkish Cup MVP and was named to the All-EuroLeague Second Team in 2016.
Milano will bring Datome back to Italy. He will sign a multi-year deal with the Italian powerhouse.
