FIBA Europe Cup Final Four lineup finalized

FIBA Europe Cup Final Four lineup finalized

Final Four will be played April 23-25.

The field for the FIBA Europe Cup Final Four has been confirmed as Ironi Ness Ziona (ISR) completed the lineup and joined Arged BMSLAM Stal (POL), BC Parma (RUS) and CSM CSU Oradea (ROU).

Ironi Ness Ziona clinched the last remaining spot on Friday as they ended the unbeaten run of Iraklis BC to win 105-80. Braian Angola and Jerome Meyinsse led the way with 27 points and 26 points, respectively.

Qualification to the Final Four marks new ground for all four clubs – each from a different nation – who have never advanced to this stage of a European club competition before.

No previous winner in FIBA Europe Cup history has gone through the season without a defeat. Arged BMSLAM Stal remain in contention to do so after beating Belfius Mons-Hainaut in the Quarter-Finals, 73-66,  while Parma also maintained their perfect record with an 84-62 victory over BC Balkan.

As well as a first team representing Poland in FIBA Europe Cup Semi-Finals, there will be a team from Romania as Oradea booked their place with a 71-64 victory over UNAHOTELS Reggio Emilia.

In the Semi-Finals, Arged BMSLAM Stal will take on CSM CSU Oradea, with BC Parma facing Ironi Ness Ziona in the other tie.

With the Regular Season and all subsequent phases of the competition held in single venue hubs to ensure the health and safety of all participants, a Final Four will be organized in FIBA Europe Cup for the first time since the inaugural season in 2016.

The location of the Final Four, set to take place from April 23-25, will be announced at a later stage.
