After sitting out last season, American/Finnish power forward Erik Murphy will be back on the court in Japan as he signed a deal with the Fukushima Firebonds, sources told Sportando.
Murphy, a former NBA second-round pick who played for the Chicago Bulls in 2013-14, spent the 2018-19 season in Germany and Spain, playing for the Fraport Skyliners and BAXI Manresa. While playing for the Skyliners, he shot a ridiculous 64.1 percent (25 of 39) from 3-point range in 12 EuroCup games.
