Italian basketball: how the Covid-19 clause works

There is a new clause that most of the Italian teams are adding to the regular contracts of the players for next season.

Season definitely canceled before the start: salary 0%;

Season definitely canceled after the start: 25% of the salary from the day of cancellation till the end of the season;

Season suspended after the start but with chance for players to practice: 50% of the salary from the suspension till the end of the season;

Season suspended after the start but without chance to practice: 25% of the salary from the suspension till the end of the season.

If the start of the season is postponed, the contract would start when the season begins and terminates when the season ends.
