Recoletas Salud San Pablo Burgos announced the signing of Christian Sengfelder for the 2026/27 season. The German big man, born in Leverkusen on February 28, 1995 and standing 2.03 meters tall, will strengthen the frontcourt of a team set to compete in Liga Endesa and BKT EuroCup.
Sengfelder developed with Bayer Giants Leverkusen and Ehingen Urspring before moving to the NCAA, where he played for Fordham Rams and Boise State Broncos between 2014 and 2018. He later returned to Germany, playing for Braunschweig, Brose Bamberg, Telekom Baskets Bonn and ratiopharm Ulm, with a one-season stint in France at JDA Dijon.
Last season with Ulm, he averaged 10.6 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1 assist in domestic competition, posting an 11.9 PIR. In EuroCup, he added 10.2 points and 4.4 rebounds per game, bringing European experience, versatility and offensive production to Burgos’ frontcourt.
