Caitlin Clark delivered a night destined to go down in WNBA history. The young Indiana Fever star led her team to victory with a remarkable performance, while simultaneously setting several personal and league records.
Clark became the first player in WNBA history to record at least 40 points and 10 assists in the same game. A milestone never previously achieved in the competition, further confirming her unique impact on the game.
The Fever’s No. 22 finished the game with a career-high 45 points, along with 10 assists, four steals, two blocks and six three-pointers made on 10 attempts. A complete performance that allowed Indiana to secure a crucial win.
The record-breaking night continued from beyond the arc as well: with her second three-pointer of the game, Clark reached 200 career three-pointers, becoming the fastest player in WNBA history to reach that mark. She needed just 74 games, surpassing the previous record held by Katie Smith, who reached 200 threes in 81 games.
The Fever guard also set a new franchise record, becoming the first player in Indiana history to score at least 45 points in a single game. Clark therefore surpassed the previous team record, which belonged to Kelsey Mitchell with 38 points.
