With Happy Casa Brindisi’s win tonight over GeVi Napoli, the eight teams for the 2022 edition of the LBA Final Eight are now confirmed
The teams are: A|X Armani Exchange Milano, Virtus Segafredo Bologna, Allianz Pallacanestro Trieste, Dolomiti Energia Trentino, Bertram Tortona, Happy Casa Brindisi, Germani Brescia and Banco di Sardegna Sassari.
2021 finalist Pesaro, 2020 champion Venezia and 2019 champion Cremona are all out of the tournament that will be played in Pesaro on February 16 to 20
Milano is assured of being seed #1, while Bologna is seed #2, newcomer Tortona seed #3 and Sassari seed #8, with the game between Milano and Sassari (a final in 2015 and 2017) the only quarterfinal already defined.
