Bigbank/Kalev have announced the signing of Jakob Falko, who will replace Kasen Harrison. The American guard will leave the team after a health issue was discovered during his medical examination in Estonia, with the player requesting not to continue with the club.
Falko played college basketball from 2020 to 2023 before signing his first professional contract in 2024/25 with IR Reykjavik, where he also spent last season. During the most recent regular season, he appeared in 22 games, averaging 22.2 points, 7.8 assists and 4.5 rebounds in around 36 minutes per game.
Head coach Brett Nõmm highlighted Falko’s physicality, his ability to finish effectively around the basket, draw fouls and create open shots for his teammates. Bigbank/Kalev will play their first preseason game on September 9 against Keila KK.
