Barcelona’s summer revolution is not over yet, with the front office still working to replace the 11 players who have left the roster that finished last season, including young phenom Nikola Kusturica.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the duo of Pujol and coach Sekulic are determined to add both a center and a power forward.
In the paint, Barcelona are looking for a player with complementary characteristics to those of Nebo and Balcerowski, the two centers who joined the team this summer.
The biggest challenge, however, will be at power forward, where the Blaugrana need to replace the reliability and experience of Toko Shengelia.
Barcelona have already signed several players with no EuroLeague experience, such as Umoja Gibson and Olivier Nkamhoua, as well as others making their first appearance in Europe, including Tyrese Martin, Tosan Evbuomwan and Stanley Umude.
For that reason, it would probably be wiser to avoid taking another gamble in such a crucial position.
