Nikola Kusturica, who was recently named to the FIBA U17 World Cup First-Team, has reached a multi-year agreement with UCLA.
The 17-year-old Serbian forward put together a spectacular tournament, averaging 24.6 points, 6.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 2.3 steals, and 1.7 blocks per game. He capped off his campaign with a remarkable 37-point performance against Team USA in the championship game.
Kusturica will leave Barcelona to begin his college career in the United States, despite having the opportunity to feature for the club’s senior team this season.
