Barcelona is close to signing Tyrese Martin. According to Encestando, as reported by Mundo Deportivo, the American wing is expected to become a new blaugrana player in the coming days.
Martin, 27 and 1.98 meters tall, comes from the NBA path and played 46 games last season between the Brooklyn Nets and Philadelphia 76ers. His profile had drawn interest from several EuroLeague clubs and had also been linked to Real Madrid.
Selected with the No. 51 pick in the 2022 NBA Draft, Martin had his best NBA season in 2024-25 under Jordi Fernandez with the Nets, averaging 8.7 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2 assists. Barcelona would add physicality, athleticism, defense and shooting to strengthen its perimeter.
