The wait is over, after a spell of twelve years, Alba Berlin is again number one in German basketball.
ALBA won 75-74 the second final game against Ludwigsburg at the final tournament of the Bundesliga (BBL).
Niels Giffey and Martin Hermannsson were the top scorer for the winners with 14 points, Landry Nkoko added 12 points
For Ludwisburg Thomas Winbush scored a game high 19 points, while Nick Weiler-Babb ended with 14 points and 11 rebounds.
ALBA won the german Cup in February against Oldenburg, for the first time since 2003, Berliners can celebrate the double.
