The New York Knicks celebrated their 2025-26 NBA championship at Madison Square Garden with their ring ceremony and championship banner unveiling. The franchise also surprised fans by raising a banner for last season’s NBA Cup title.
Jalen Brunson and his teammates received their rings from Walt Frazier before watching the “2025-26 World Champions” banner rise to the rafters. “Really special. Happy we got it out of the way and we can move on for now,” Brunson said, while adding that the Knicks would love to “replicate” the joy New York experienced over the summer.
Before the championship banner went up, the Knicks also honored their NBA Cup victory over San Antonio. The celebration ended on a sour note, however, as Philadelphia won the season opener 106-100. Josh Hart summed it up: “Right now we’re 0-1.”
