The Orlando Magic have received encouraging news ahead of their season opener against the Atlanta Hawks. Franz Wagner provided an update on his injury status, revealing that he plans to play in tomorrow’s game.
“I plan on playing tomorrow,” the 25-year-old German forward said after fully participating in the team’s practice today. Wagner has been dealing with a right shoulder issue after leaving Friday’s preseason finale with soreness.
Despite the concern, Wagner appeared in all four of Orlando’s preseason games, averaging 11.8 points per contest as the Magic recorded three wins. His availability would provide a boost for Orlando as the team prepares to begin its new NBA campaign.
