The South East Melbourne Phoenix have officially signed American point guard Skylar Mays to a one-year contract for the 2026-27 NBL season.
Mays joins the Australian club after appearing in more than 100 NBA games during spells with the Atlanta Hawks, Portland Trail Blazers, and Los Angeles Lakers.
The 28-year-old spent the last season in Europe with Budućnost (9.9 points, 1.9 assists, 1.2 steals per game in Eurocup) , following a previous stint in Turkey, and now brings valuable NBA and European experience to the Phoenix roster.
