Xavi Pascual is no longer Barcelona’s head coach. The Catalan club announced that the Gavà-born coach has exercised the termination clause included in the contract that tied him to Barça until 2028.
Pascual’s second spell as Barcelona basketball head coach, which began on November 17, 2025, has now come to an end. During these months, he coached 68 games in total: 37 in the domestic league, 29 in EuroLeague and 2 in the Copa del Rey.
Pascual had returned to Barça alongside assistant coach Iñigo Zorzano, who will also not continue with the club. Barcelona thanked both for their commitment and dedication, wishing them success in the future.
