Valencia Basket are working to rebuild their backcourt after losing De Larrea, Montero and Badio. According to Juan Carlos Villena, the Spanish club have targeted Nadir Hifi, one of Paris Basketball’s standout players in the last EuroLeague season.
The French guard, who will turn 24 on July 16, averaged 18.9 points and 3.8 assists per game in EuroLeague. His contract with Paris Basketball runs until 2028 and does not include a EuroLeague exit clause, only an NBA-out option.
Paris Basketball’s valuation to release him is reportedly around €2 million. The deal is neither closed nor easy, but Valencia remain active on several backcourt targets, including TJ Shorts and Trent Frazier, as they try to build another high-level perimeter group.
