Valencia Basket have announced that Braxton Key’s time with the club has come to an end following the expiration of his contract. The American power forward has decided to accept another offer for the upcoming season.
Key joined Valencia at the end of October 2025, midway through the season, after being waived by the Memphis Grizzlies. He quickly adapted to European basketball and played an important role in the club’s first-ever EuroLeague Final Four run and its second Liga Endesa championship.
During his time with Valencia Basket, Key appeared in 68 games, averaging 6.7 points, 3.6 rebounds, 0.8 steals and 0.5 blocks for a 7.5 PIR. The club thanked him for his professionalism, hard work and commitment.
