Zeljko Obradovic’s Panathinaikos coaching staff revealed

Zeljko Obradovic is set to return to Panathinaikos after 14 years, and his new coaching staff is also taking shape

According to BasketNews, Obradovic’s staff is expected to include long-time assistant Jose Maria Izquierdo, Aleksandar Matovic, Mike Batiste, Vassilis Xanthopoulos and Vlada Androic.

Batiste, a former EuroLeague champion with Panathinaikos under Obradovic, is expected to work on individual player development. A possible administrative role for Dimitris Diamantidis has also been mentioned.

Obradovic has reportedly agreed to a three-year, €12 million deal with the Greek club, while Dimitris Giannakopoulos is expected to further increase the team’s annual budget.
