Hapoel Jerusalem officially signs Ethan Burg through 2029

The Israeli club announced a long-term deal with the 2003-born guard, who spent last season at Tennessee

Hapoel Jerusalem has officially announced the signing of Ethan Burg to a long-term contract running through the end of the 2028-29 season.

Burg, a 23-year-old Israeli guard standing 1.91 meters, joins the club after one season at Tennessee. He came through Maccabi Rishon LeZion’s youth system and later played in Israel’s top division with Bnei Herzliya, averaging 11.1 points, 2.7 rebounds and 3.4 assists in 2024-25.

“I am excited and proud to join Hapoel Jerusalem, the club I have supported for as long as I can remember,” Burg said. Coach Yonatan Alon described him as “an excellent offensive player, talented and creative.”
