Timberwolves’ Jaylen Clark exits with neck pain after hard fall

The Minnesota Timberwolves suffered a 130-123 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder, but the bigger concern was Jaylen Clark’s injury.

The 6’4” guard took a hard fall in the third quarter after attacking the rim against Isaiah Hartenstein, landing on his back and head while his neck snapped backward. Clark stayed down for a while before being helped off and later ruled out.

Starting for just the second time in his career, he had 14 points in 18 minutes. Coach Chris Finch had no update postgame. With Gobert, Randle, and DiVincenzo already out, Minnesota faces OKC again on Monday.
