Shawn Hopkins signs with Pyrinto Tampere

Hopkins will play again in Finland

Former Troy and North Georgia guard Shawn Hopkins has signed a deal with Pyrinto Tampere of the Finnish Korisliiga, the team announced.

Hopkins played for BC Nokia this past season.

The 19-year-old Finnish prospect was caught driving at 76 km/h in a 40 km/h zone. His U.S. driver’s license had expired in September 2025.
