La NBPA ha annunciato dei cambi al vertice. Il più importante è quello del presidente, con CJ McCollum che prende il posto di Chris Paul.
La star di Phoenix lascia il ruolo dopo ben 8 anni.
Grant Williams, power forward dei Boston Celtics, è il nuovo vice-presidente. Faranno parte del comitato esecutivo di NBPA anche Andre Iguodala, Harrison Barnes, Bismack Biyombo, Malcolm Brogdon, Jaylen Brown, Kyrie Irving e Garrett Temple
