Gli Houston Rockets intendono presentare richiesta alla NBA per ottenere una Disabled Player Exception dopo l’infortunio di Fred VanVleet, che ha riportato la rottura del legamento crociato anteriore destro.

Secondo Yahoo Sports, l’eccezione — prevista dal CBA in caso di assenze di lungo termine — ammonterebbe al 50% dello stipendio del giocatore, pari a circa 12,5 milioni di dollari.

Questo spazio aggiuntivo permetterebbe ai Rockets di firmare o acquisire un sostituto entro quella cifra.
